PUF Rotating foam used for sampling of particulates
For use with any of the following versions of the CIP 10. — CIP 10T, CIP 10R and CIP 10I
The foam is certified to be a specific number of cells per cm, and a certification comes with each bag of foam. (See photo 2 for example)
The foam is traditionally weighed with its cup and cap, before each sampling (see literature section for information on procedure).
There have been instances that the foam has been digested and analyzed for elements.
This process is highly tailored to the contaminant that one is sampling. we are working with several researchers that are adapting this concept into their analytical methods. We will update the literature library when details are available
